My name is Josh Rizzo and I'm a freelance sports writer and a Pittsburgh native. I graduated from Penn-Trafford High School in 2007 and from Slippery Rock University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication with an emphasis in journalism.
The goal of this site is to provide more news coverage in the Pittsburgh area. I am a newspaper guy at heart, but also recognize that as the industry loses steam, there will be many gaps in media coverage. My hope is the stories we find and report on for this site will help fill some of those vacancies.
