Ben Pierce is a Penn Hills Indian. Graduated in 1984. He was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in 1987. Be proud of our history. I spoke with him recently and he will be by to speak to our program this off season. He is very excited we reached out to him. @Bpierce44 #CREDO pic.twitter.com/erlZzoLhgm

The Penn Hills High School varsity baseball program will be under new leadership this spring. As a result, Joe Capobianco Jr. is looking to give the team, which has struggled mightily a big shot in the arm. Penn Hills recently announced on X that they will be bringing in Ben Pierce as a speaker in the offseason.
Pierce, who graduated from Penn Hills in 1984, pithed for four seasons in the minor leagues. Pierce was drafted into the Kansas City Royals' organization. Pierce played most of his career in Single A. He finished with a 10-10 record and a 4.08 ERA.
